Sculpture in sauvage clay and porcelaine

It is a sandstone sculpture, heavy and silky. The work evokes a pebble with a minimalist shape that has mutated. The clay block was fired several times and at very high temperatures. The piece is heavy, and exudes a feeling of discretion. The work on the clay and the very particular enamelling have transformed the surface into a bluish, pearly "skin" which is very silky to the touch. It is a reassuring work.
